Bike Week

Wild Flower Garden in Full Bloom

Below are some pictures of our wonderful wild flower garden which is in full bloom at the moment. It is alive with thousands of insects and the buzz of the bees pollinating the flowers. This is a collaboration between the school and our local residents association who have Balally looking so well!

On Sunday evening we held practice for a school golf team. This was open to boys and girls from 5th and 6th class and they will compete in a competition over the coming weeks. Many thanks to the parents who helped out at the practice and to The Castle Golf Club for hosting the practice.

Active Week

All our class have made a fantastic effort in our "Run Around Ireland" challenge this week. The class with the most laps added up will take on the staff in a dodgeball game. We're hoping to do this with our rescheduled "Teddy Bear Picnic" in the coming weeks.

Balance Bikes

Thank you to DunLaoighaire Rathdown Sports Partnership for a delivery of 10 balance bikes and helmets. These bikes will be used by the smaller children in the school during PE and break times. Our school Active Team from 5th & 6th have been great bike buddies to our little pedal pals.
