Visit from author Paddy Donnelly

We were delighted to welcome author and illustrator Paddy Donnelly to St. Olaf’s N.S. for a fantastic day of storytelling, drawing and fun!

Paddy spent the day with our pupils, delivering two brilliant one-hour sessions. Our 3rd and 4th classes enjoyed the first session, followed by 1st and 2nd classes. The children had a wonderful time listening to Paddy read some of his stories and learning more about his work as an author and illustrator.

Paddy also gave the children some fantastic illustration demonstrations, before encouraging them to create their own characters and illustrations. There was great excitement as the children brought their ideas to life!

To finish off the visit, Paddy signed autographs and chatted with the children, who were thrilled to meet a real author and illustrator.
