Athletics

St. Olaf's have a long tradition of competing in the Cumann na mBunscol Athletics Competition in Morton Stadium, Santry every May. The girls and boys compete in sprints and relay competitions in the ,U12 and U14 age categories. Some students also compete in the 500 metre race and in field events such as the long jump, high jump, hurdles and shot putt. 6th class also have the opportunity to compete in Cross Country Running. Ms. Cooney and Mr. Kearns are the teachers responsible for organising this.
