Amber Flag

We are very excited to announce that we were awarded our first ever Amber flag in 2022. The Amber Flag initiative is an initiative run by Pieta which recognises the individual efforts of primary and secondary schools, youth reach, third level institutions, community groups, clubs and companies to create healthy, inclusive environments that support mental wellbeing. We have a committee of both teachers and students (3^rd to 6^th class) who meet and brainstorm ideas to ensure we receive our flag and continue to promote this area within our school.

Each year we have many fun things in this area – including a Wellbeing week usually around Easter. During this week the Amber flag committee encourage us all to partake in wellbeing challenges at school and at home. We also host a Bake Sale to raise funds for the wonderful charity that is Pieta. We look forward to bringing you all on this journey with us and continuing our work as an Amber school. Below are our fabulous committee:
