St. Olaf's N.S. prides itself on being an integral part of Balally and the wider community. The school has strong links with a number of local bodies. These links have grown in strength down through the years and we will continue to strengthen them into the future.
They include:
The Church of the Ascension, Balally. Fr. Jim Caffrey is the parish priest and visits our school regularly. In particular, Fr. Jim enjoys meeting the boys and girls in our sacrament classes.
St. Olaf's are fortunate to have the support of Naomh Olaf GAA and their GPO Declan. Declan visits St. Olaf's on a weekly basis to teach the fundamental skills to our pupils. We use St. Olaf's pitches for all of our home fixtures in CNMB.
St. Mary's Sandyford kindly allow us the use of their facilities for our home soccer games and training.
Balally Resident's Association:
St Olaf’s have a close connection with Balally Residents Association.
We have a beautiful school meadow which is sponsored by the Residents Association. The children get involved in litter picking in the estate and Luas lane which they always enjoy!
