Confirmation

Last Friday many of our 6th class made their Confirmation in Balally Church. Thank you to Fr. Jim for celebrating and all the teachers, SNA's and Karen for helping to get the kids ready for their special day.

Amber Flag and Gaelbhratach

Yesterday we had the hoisting of our two newest flags. Our Amber Flag was renewed after fantastic work by our Student Council while this was the first time we received the Gaelbhratach for the Irish language thanks to our Coiste Gaeilge. Well done to all students and teachers involved.

Ms. Murray's Butterflies

Ms. Murray's Senior Infants have been studying the life cycle of a butterfly recently. They watched them grow from a an egg, to a caterpillar, to a chrysalis and finally beautiful butterflies which they released on Monday.

Our 5th class students had a fantastic time at Alive Outside on Kilruddery Estate for their school tour. They tried out the "Hell and Back" course, made fires, kayaked and jumped in the lake!

On Tuesday our 3rd Class had their school tour to Fort Lucan. A great day was had by all students, teachers and SNA's. The kids were blessed with the weather and enjoyed the water slides, mini golf, go karting and playground.
