There was great excitement in St. Olaf's on Thursday for World Book Day. Children had the option of dressing up as their favourite book characters and authors. There were some fantastic costumes and the kids really enjoyed getting to do activities related to their favourite books.

On Ash Wednesday out 3rd to 6th classes attended a ceremony in Balally celebrated by Fr. Jim and Fr. Dermot. Brendan and Vinny provided some beautiful music to make it a very special occasion. During the ceremony the children made a pledge to endeavor to do more to protect our environment.

Irish Dancing
