Garda Visit 3rd and 4th Class

Our local Community Gardaí gave a talk to our 3rd and 4th class students on the importance of safety around Halloween. There is an information leaflet for parents below.

Junior Girls

Our Junior Girls had their second game of the season against Scoil Bhríde, Ranelagh in Bushy Park. St. Olaf's put in a fantastic performance and almost completed a great comeback in the second half losing narrowly. Well done girls!

Walk to School Week

This week is Walk to School Week and Wednesday is National WOW (Walk on Wednesday) Day. We hope as many children as possible can walk or park and stride to school this week and especially on Wednesday. Each class will get some activities to celebrate walking as a positive mode for school journeys.

Junior Girls

St. Olaf's first ever Junior Girls team had their first game in the inaugural Cumann na mBunscol Junior Girls competition against Divine Word on Tuesday. St. Olaf's put in a great performance against a very strong Divine Word team who edged it on the day. Well done girls!

Girls GAA

Our senior girls team got their season off to a great start with a win over local rivals Our Lady of the Wayside. Our junior girls get their season underway with a game in Deerpark against Scoil San Treasa tomorrow. Best of luck girls!

Boys GAA

Both our boys teams got their seasons off to a fantastic start with wins over Divine Word and Good Shepherd respectively. Well done to all the boys who represented us with such distinction. Games continue next week with Juniors-Tuesday, Senior Girls- Wednesday and Senior Boys- Thursday. All support is greatly appreciated.

Scoop Rockers

Ms Bloomers class were delighted to see the arrival of their new "scoop rockers". The kids are really enjoying using them to read their books on during library time.
