Junior & Senior Infant Assembly

Well done to all our prize winners at our assembly before Easter. Everyone really enjoyed learning about being kind and caring in our school. Mr. Murtagh also read the story 'Kind' by Alison Green, which was a very special treat for the children!

Junior Camogie

Our Junior Camogie team got their season underway with a spirited performance against a very strong Divine Word team. This was the debut for our new jerseys kindly sponsored by Smyth Recruitment. It's great to see so many of our fourth class participating in camogie and showing great signs for the future.

New Storytelling Area

Before Easter we had a fantastic new addition to our Sensory Garden in our storytelling area. The benches and readers chair are made from recycled plastic and are a great environment for our classes to enjoy reading and storytelling time. Check out third class enjoying it below.

Camogie

Congratulations to our senior camogie team who secured an excellent win today with a hard fought victory in tough conditions. St. Olaf's overturned an 8 point deficit in the first half showing great character. The road to Croker begins here! Thanks to @realtimejobs_ for their sponsorship of our jerseys.

4th Class Junior Achievement

As part of the Junior achievement programme, Ms Conlon’s 4th class visited Elavon in Cherrywood to present their business ideas to "The Dragons Den". The children had amazing business ideas and were brilliant in presenting them to the Dragons. Well done!

Gymnastics Success

Congratulations to the 3 Hickey children for their recent international performances for Ireland in Gymnastics. Roisin Hickey (6th class) and Matthew Hickey (Class of 2022) represented Ireland last weekend in the Caledonian International Gymnastics Competition, in Scotland, an under 16 competition. Our three third classes entered a team into the annual Andy Gibbons hurling competition hosted by Naomh Olaf on the astro is Stepaside. All three teams performed excellently with Mr. Kearns and Ms. Murphy's classes going through to the finals event on Thursday. Good luck all!
