Well-being week begins!

Our Well-Being committee have been busy organising a lovely, mindful week for staff and children here in St.Olaf's NS. The children will have the opportunity to practice yoga and meditation throughout the week with a 'pyjama day' fundraiser taking place for Pieta on Friday. We are all really looking forward to the week ahead!

Girls Soccer

Our new girls soccer team are hard at work training for their inaugural season. Many thanks to St. Mary's F.C. for the use of Balally Hill and to Anthony and Jessica Kelly for their sponsorship of a new set of jerseys for the team.

Microsoft Visit

A big thank you to Islam from Microsoft who visited Mr. Kearns and Ms. Geraghty's class recently. The kids got to try out coding their own game and really enjoyed it.

Peace Proms

On Saturday night our wonderful choir took place in the annual "Peace Proms" in the RDS. A fantastic night was had by all. Well done to all the kids, Ms. Brady and Ms. Campbell for all their hard-work in preparation for this.

Garda Band

On Friday we were lucky to welcome the Garda Band to the school for the first time. They played many great hits like "Happy" and "Dance Monkey" but the children really enjoyed "Ireland's Call" and "Amhrán na bhFiann" ahead of the big game tonight.

Christmas Jumper Day

A huge thank you to everyone who kindly supported our Christmas jumper fundraiser for St John’s Ward in Crumlin Children’s Hospital. An unbelievable €3061 was raised and already we have purchased Rookus Fire sticks for all the televisions on the ward, so children can access their favourite programmes while staying in hospital.
