Junior Hurling & Camogie

Our Junior Hurlers and Camogie players got their seasons underway in a sunny Naomh Olaf on Tuesday afternoon. The camogie girls had a good win over local rivals Gaelscoil na Fuinseoige while our boys team lost out to a good St. Laurences team. Games continue for both teams next week.

Ms. O'Brien's first class enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the sensory garden before the Easter Break. Lots of tasty treats were found!

Seó Faisean Rang a 3 Ms. Conlon

Bhí am iontach ag rang a 3 ag an "Seó Faisean" a bhí acu sa seomra ranga. Dhéan na páistí cur síos ar na headaí a bhí orthu as Gaeilge agus shiúil siad síos an catwalk. Bhreathaigh siad uilig go hálainn.

Wellbeing Rainbow

Our finale to Wellbeing Week this year was creating a rainbow at the front of the school and raising funds for mental health charities. Check out the wonderfully colourful rainbow we created.

We had a great time celebrating wellbeing week. We created compliment clouds, practiced yoga and made some beautiful posters for the Darkness into Light walk in Marley Park this year.

5th Class Trip to the National Museum

On Friday both our 5th classes had a trip to the National Museum on Kildare Street and enjoyed a wonderful tour of prehistoric Ireland.

Last Thursday our fantastic P.A. organised their first "Ladies Night" with special guest speaker (and past pupil) Laura Dowling A.K.A. The Fabulous Pharmacist. 5th Class Trip to Kilmainham Jail

Both of our 5th class have been learning about 1916 recently and paid a visit to KIlmainham Jail to see where the leaders of revolution were imprisoned and executed. A very informative day out!

Balance Bikes

Thank you to DunLaoighaire Rathdown Sports Partnership for a delivery of 10 balance bikes and helmets. These bikes will be used by the smaller children in the school during PE and break times. Our school Active Team from 5th & 6th have been great bike buddies to our little pedal pals.
