Daily Mile

Ms. Geraghty and Mr. Duignan's classes visited Kilbogget Park on Wednesday to complete their Daily Mile with other schools. This is a fantastic initiative that gets kids active during the day.

Danish Visitors

St. Olafs welcomed two visiting teachers from Denmark, Claus and Ane as part of the European Erasmus programme. They enjoyed visiting classrooms and chatting to the children about school in Ireland. They shared some photos and videos of school in Denmark. We hope to see them return in the future.

This week our first and second class had their first assembly of the year. We had an introduction from our Coiste Gaeilge as well as a talk about safety at Halloween. Each teacher then gave out two awards to their class. Well done to everyone.

We had a very exciting day yesterday as we were fortunate enough to have a visit from a mobile farm. The children really enjoyed learning about the different animals and even being able to pet them.

Both our boys and girls junior teams continued their good form this week picking up 2 wins. The boys team beat St. Laurence's at home while the girls team have now finished their season unbeaten by winning away to Scoil Mhuire Shankill. Well done all!
