Olympic Handball

Our girls Olympic handball team recently made it all the way to a Leinster Final. Well done to the girls for some fantastic performances along the way. A big thank you to Ms. Duffy for coaching them.

Well done to our four 5th Class boys who represented us excellently in the All Ireland Final in Leixlip.

Ceolchoirm

On Thursday we hosted a ceolchoirm as part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations. We had a fantastic performance from Mr O Loinsigh's Ceilí Band and from some of our fantastic Irish dancers. Every class also performed a song as Gaeilge. There will be some videos in our Easter news letter next week.

Boys Soccer

Our boys soccer team got their season off to a fantastic start with a win against Monkstown. A big thank you to St. Benildus College for allowing us to use their astro.

Our first ever eleven a side girls team had their first game on Monday against St. Francis SNS. The girls put in a fantastic performance and won this cup tie 6-4. Olympics Launch

Our three third classes had an enjoyable day out at Dundrum Athletics Club last week for Flogas' official Olympic Launch. The kids were very excited to meet Ciara Mageean, Jordan Conroy and David Gillick. The kids enjoyed a trip to the playground in Marlay Park to finish off their trip.

Junior Infant trip to Airfield!

All our Junior Infant classes had a great time in Airfield on Wednesday. We saw the cows being milked and had a mucky walk through the woodland!

FAI 5 a Side Girls

Well done to our 6th class Girls who competed excellently in the FAI 5 a side competition in Wayside Celtic. The Girls missed out on a spot in the Dublin finals after losing to a strong Oatlands team in the semi final. Well done all.

ESB Science Blast

Mr. Duignan's class had a great day out at the ESB Science Blast in the R.D.S. Over the last few weeks they have been looking at the different strategies supermarkets use to get us to spend more money!

Balance Bikes

Thank you to DunLaoighaire Rathdown Sports Partnership for a delivery of 10 balance bikes and helmets. These bikes will be used by the smaller children in the school during PE and break times. Our school Active Team from 5th & 6th have been great bike buddies to our little pedal pals.
