Electricity in 5th Class

VR Revolutions

Mr. Kearns' 5th class have been learning about various revolutions such as the American, French and 1798 Irish Rebellion. They were able to use the VR headsets to explore major historic events such as Bastille Day, the signing of the American Declaration of Independence and the Boston Tea Party. A great resource to have.

Ms. Leavy's Class Gingerbread Man

Today the children completed a STEM activity creating traps for the gingerbread man. We watched the read aloud story of The Gingerbread Man. Then in their groups they worked together to create a trap using jellies and cocktail sticks.

Both our boys and girls junior teams continued their good form this week picking up 2 wins. The boys team beat St. Laurence's at home while the girls team have now finished their season unbeaten by winning away to Scoil Mhuire Shankill. Well done all!
