Soccer Success!

St. Olaf's entered a 4th class and 5th class team into a 5 aside competition in Rockbrook Park School in Rathfarnham. Both teams topped their groups in the group stage on Monday the 21st and qualified for the semi finals. The semi finals were held under lights on Thursday where both teams beat Edmondstown NS in their respective semis. The 4th class team drew their final with Our Lady's BNS 2-2 and so went to a penalty shootout. Alex pulled off some super saves and Olaf's scored all their penalties to emerge victorious. The 5th class team then had their final also against Our Lady's. It was very tight game and Pixie got the only goal of the game right at the end to get the win for St. Olaf's. It was a super team performance from both teams. Thank you to the parents for supporting and to Rockbrook Park for organising.
