National Bike Week

We had great fun celebrating Bike Week on the week of the 16th of May. We looked at the benefits of cycling to school for ourselves and for the environment. We did lots of bike activities including designing our own bikes from recyclable materials and creating comic strip stories about our journey to school. Wednesday was National cycle day and we encouraged as many children as possible to cycle to school. A total of 175 pupils cycled to school that day which is a great result! We hope as many children as possible will continue to cycle to school especially now that summer has arrived!
