First Holy Communion

On Saturday, we were blessed with beautiful sunshine as our pupils celebrated their First Holy Communion. It was a very special and memorable day for the children, their families, and our whole school community.

A huge thank you to our teachers, Ms. A. O’Brien, Ms. B. O’Brien, and Ms. Lohan, along with our wonderful SNAs Carmel, Jodie, and Paula, for all their hard work and dedication in preparing the children for this important sacrament.

We would also like to sincerely thank Karen, our school secretary, for all her help with organising the day. Thank you to Ms. Cullinane and Ms. Campbell for their fantastic work with the school choir, and well done to all the children in the choir whose singing added so much to the celebration.

Congratulations and well done to all the children who made their First Holy Communion. We are very proud of each and every one of you.

A special word of thanks to our parish priest, Fr. Jim Caffrey, for celebrating the ceremony and for guiding and preparing the children over the weeks and months leading up to the sacrament.

Finally, thank you to all the parents and children who baked delicious treats for the party afterwards in the school hall. Your generosity and support helped make the day even more enjoyable for everyone.

It was a wonderful occasion and one that will be remembered fondly by all.
