Engineers Week

Scribble Bots
During Engineers week Ms Gannon and Ms Molly's third class and Ms Conlon's fourth class had engineer and parent, Amy Sammin come in to help us create our own drawing robots, Scribble bots. Amy is a engineer and lecturer in TUD and spoke to us about engineering. We then each made our own drawing robot. We added legs, a motor and battery to the cup. We each created our own drawing bot by adding feathers, eyes and pipe cleaners. We then connected the battery and watched it moving fast. Then Amy introduced us to her bot Destructo who challenged Sean and Isla B's drawing bots to a battle.
