Climate Action Week

We had a very successful ‘Climate Action Week’ in St Olaf’s last week. On Monday over 3/4 of the pupils had meat free lunch for ‘Monday Free Monday’. On Tuesday every class had no power for one hour in their classroom. On Wednesday 290 pupils walked to school for ‘Walk on Wednesday’. We had talks on Recycling and Water conservation. We held a ‘Climate Change’ poster competition with many outstanding entries. The children made a ‘Climate Action Pledge’ to encourage everyone to keep the climate conversation alive and take the next step in their climate action journey. A huge thanks to the Green Schools committee for all their hard work in helping to raise awareness on climate change.
