Ms Leavy's 3rd class had a fantastic trip to Airfield Estate where we had a day full of fun and learning. We were filmed and interviewed by RTÉ News2day while exploring the farm. First, we visited the animals and learned all about life on the farm. Then we went into the kitchens where we made delicious scrambled eggs on toast and discovered how food goes from farm to fork. The children also churned milk into butter, to use on their toast! After all our hard work, we finished the day with lots of fun in the playground. Everyone had a super day and made great memories together!
