We were delighted to host a fantastic Race Night recently, organised by our incredible Parent’s Association in support of our astro pitch development project. The evening was a tremendous success, strongly supported by both parents and staff, and a fun and enjoyable night was had by all. It was wonderful to see such a great turnout and sense of community spirit throughout the event. Photos of the event are available here.
From the first race to the last, the energy in the room was electric. Guests enthusiastically backed their chosen horses, enjoyed great company, and contributed generously to this very important initiative. Events like this truly highlight the strength and warmth of our school community.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our outstanding Parent’s Association for their hard work, creativity, and dedication in organising such a memorable event. In particular, a very special mention must go to Mary Brownlee, whose commitment, leadership, and tireless efforts were central to the success of the evening. I would also like to acknowledge Sylvia Jay-Carey for the tremendous work she put into organising the spot prizes and raffle prizes, which added greatly to the enjoyment of the night, and of course Rachel Brien, our Chairperson, for her ongoing leadership and dedication.
We are also deeply grateful to everyone who attended, sponsored races, donated prizes, and supported the night in any way.
The total amount raised from the Race Night was an impressive €9,308.73.
To date, we have raised almost €168,000, meaning we now require a further €100,000 to reach our target. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the generosity and commitment of our entire school community. Your continued support brings us ever closer to realising our goal of developing a top-quality astro pitch for our school.
Together, we continue to build not just facilities, but a vibrant and supportive community for our students to thrive in.
Thank you all once again.
