3rd Class Visit Dundrum Library to Meet Author Erika McGann

This Thursday, November 6th, the children in Mr. Kearns' 3rd Class took a special trip to Dundrum Library for an exciting author visit with Erika McGann.

The class walked to the library, full of excitement and curiosity about meeting a real author in person. Erika McGann, known for her wonderful children’s books like The Clubhouse Mystery and Making Millions, spoke to the students about where her story ideas come from, how she creates her characters, and what it’s like to be a writer.

The children listened eagerly, asked fantastic questions, and even got a few tips for their own storytelling! It was a fun and inspiring morning that sparked a love of reading and writing for everyone.

A big thank you to Dundrum Library for hosting such a great event, and to Erika McGann for sharing her time and creativity with our young readers.
