Despite a full day of rain, nothing could dampen the spirits of our amazing 5th class on their action-packed tour to Alive Outside!
From the moment we arrived, the excitement was in the air—and in the mud! The children got stuck straight into the adventure with survival skills training, learning how to work together, build shelters, and think like real outdoor explorers.
Then it was on to the famous Hell & Back obstacle course, where our brave students scrambled through mud, climbed over walls, and tackled every challenge head-on—laughing all the way!
Next came the highlight for many: kayaking and lake activities! Even though the rain was pouring, the class showed no hesitation diving in—literally! Sliding and jumping into the lake brought huge cheers, smiles, and some very soggy socks.
To top it all off, Mr. Kearns and Mr. Duignan weren’t about to stay on the sidelines. They joined in the fun, getting just as muddy and wet as the rest of the group (and loving every minute of it)!
It was a day full of laughter, teamwork, resilience, and memories that will last long after the rain dries up. Well done to all of 5th class—you did yourselves proud!
