5th Class Fishing Trip

Mr. Kearns’ 5th Class had an exciting educational outing this week as they visited the River Dodder with Inland Fisheries Ireland. The trip was full of hands-on learning and discovery!

The children had the amazing opportunity to hold fish, explore aquatic insects, and use identification keys to learn more about the wildlife living in the river. They also studied the flora and fauna of Bushy Park, deepening their understanding of local biodiversity and ecosystems.

A huge thank you to Inland Fisheries Ireland for sharing their knowledge and making science come to life for the students. It was a truly memorable day of outdoor learning!
