No Smartphone Voluntary Code

Last year our Parents Association with the backing of the school staff and Board of Management launched its first “No Smartphone Voluntary Code”. This is a parent led initiative in which parents agree not to let their children have a personal smartphone until secondary school. They have asked parents to sign up to the above initiative again this year. Parents of 354 children signed up to the initiative, which is up on last years figures. The results are below;
