Ms. Leavy's Class

This week, Ms. Leavy’s 3rd Class went on a 2D Shape Hunt around the school grounds. The children used their Maths Eyes to spot shapes hidden in everyday places.

They found triangles in roof edges and signs, circles in clocks and playground markings, and squares and rectangles in windows, doors, and tiles.

The activity helped the class see that maths isn’t just something we do in books – it’s all around us, if we take the time to look.

Well done to everyone in 3rd Class for being such brilliant shape detectives.
