This week, 3rd Class in St. Olaf’s have been busy opening their Maths Eyes to spot 2D shapes all around our school environment.
The children discovered that maths isn’t just in the classroom – it’s everywhere! With their sharp eyes, they found:
🔺 Triangles in roof lines and signs
⬛ Squares in windows and tiles
⚪ Circles in clocks and playground markings
⬜ Rectangles in doors, noticeboards, and even tabletops
By looking carefully, the class realised that our school is full of shapes, patterns, and geometry. The activity showed us how maths is all around us if we take the time to notice.
Well done to everyone for being such shape detectives! 🕵️♂️✨
