Maths Week in 1st Class

Ms. Brady’s, Ms. Birrane’s, and Ms. Cooney’s, classes have been busy celebrating 'Maths Week 2025' with lots of exciting activities! Pupils have been solving daily maths problems, exploring fractions, symmetry, partitioning, and doubles.

Ms. Brady’s Class have been busy exploring symmetry. The pupils had great fun finding lines of symmetry in shapes, patterns, and even in everyday classroom objects. They also created some beautiful symmetrical artwork, showing fantastic creativity and understanding.

Ms. Birrane’s class had great fun taking part in maths stations, finishing off with a lively game of UNO! They also joined a countrywide live Maths Quiz webinar, showing wonderful teamwork and enthusiasm.

A big thank you to all the teachers and pupils for making Maths Week such a fun and successful celebration of learning.
