Skipathon 2025

St. Olaf’s NS was buzzing with energy and excitement for Skipathon 2025, a fantastic event organised by our dedicated Parents’ Association. From the youngest to the oldest, every class took part in a day full of movement, laughter, and community spirit — all in support of our new AstroTurf pitch!

Here’s what the day looked like across the school:

🪁 Infants skipped their hearts out in the school yard with smiles and style.
🌳 1st and 2nd Classes took their skipping ropes to Ballawley Park for some outdoor fun in the fresh air.
🏐 3rd and 4th Classes enjoyed action-packed games at Naomh Olaf GAA Club, showing off their teamwork and skills.
🌈 5th and 6th Classes wrapped up the day with a vibrant Colour Run on Balally Hill — a spectacular and colourful finale!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise and support the day — from planning and supervising to cheering and donating. Your involvement made this event a joyful success!

We’re thrilled to announce that all funds raised from this year’s Skipathon will go directly towards the development of our new AstroTurf pitch — an exciting step forward for our school’s sports and recreation facilities.
