First Holy Communion

Congratulations to the boys and girls in second class who celebrated their First Holy Communion on Saturday the 20th of May in the Church of the Ascension of The Lord, in Balally Parish.

The mass celebrated by Fr. Jim, was a beautiful ceremony. The three second class teachers, Ms. Cooney, Ms. O'Mahony and Ms. O'Brien were very proud of their amazing students for all of their hard work in preparation for the special day. Congratulations too to Ms. Brady who presided over the superb choir. Well done to all.

Afterwards, there was a reception hosted by the Parents Association in the Parish Centre, with lots of lovely cakes and refreshments.

Thanks again to all who contributed to the day to make it so special and well done to all of the second class students.
