Mr. Kearns' 4th class have spent the last few weeks reading "Safe Harbour" a novel about evacuees in World War II. In history we also looked at "The Blitz" and the impact it had on children. For our project we had to design and make an "Anderson Shelter". We really enjoyed doing this and tried to use as much recycled things as possible in making the shelter, the "Dig for Victory" gardens and the inside of the shelter.
